Verification of Escorts and Profiles

On gingr.ch, what has been verified and what has not is made visible. Verification protects users and escorts alike and makes it clear which profile holds which level of trust.

This policy describes the four visible labels, the KYC process behind them, and the consequences of missing or invalid verification.

The Four Labels at a Glance

Three labels relate to the escort profile and one to the booking process. Each label stands for a specific check that has actually taken place.

• ID Verified: The escort's identity has been confirmed using an official identity document.
• Age Verified: The stated age has been confirmed using an official identity document.
• Content Verified: Photos and videos have been checked and genuinely show the escort behind the profile.
• Secure Booking: Booking and payment are handled entirely via gingr.ch, including escrow protection.

If a label is missing, the corresponding check has not been carried out. A profile's functionality results from the combination of its labels.

ID Verified

The ID Verified label means that the escort's identity has been verified by gingr.ch. Verification is based on an official identity document such as a passport, Swiss identity card, or residence permit.

The check includes:

• authenticity check of the document
• comparison of the document data with the profile information
• biometric comparison between face and document photo (liveness check)

Profiles with ID Verified can be booked via the platform. The chat function is enabled.

Age Verified

The Age Verified label confirms that the escort is of legal age. The age stated on the profile has been checked against the official identity document.

The verified age is displayed at the escort's request. She activates the label herself via the "Show real age" option in her profile.

The minimum age for all escorts on gingr.ch is 18 years. Any activity under the age of 18 is excluded and will be reported to the authorities immediately if suspected.

Anyone who only wants to see profiles with a verified age can filter specifically by Age Verified.

Content Verified

The Content Verified label confirms that the published photos and videos genuinely show the escort behind the profile.

For the check, the escort creates a reference photo: she writes "Gingr" clearly legibly on a sheet of paper and photographs herself so that both the person and the labelled sheet are clearly recognisable. This photo is used exclusively for internal verification and is not shared with anyone. We then compare the reference photo with the uploaded photo and video material. This ensures that no third-party images, stock photos, or manipulated depictions are used.

Content Verified is an additional, optional step after identity verification and is only granted if ID Verified is already in place.

Secure Booking

Secure Booking stands for bookings handled entirely via gingr.ch. Payment is processed by licensed financial service providers and held in escrow until the service is completed.

This means the platform's cancellation rules, protection mechanisms, and support services apply automatically. Details on payment, refunds, and escrow can be found in the Escrow overview.

The KYC Process

Identity verification is carried out via our specialised partner Dataspike. Dataspike is certified according to ISO 27001, ISO 27017, and ISO 27018 and processes identity data in accordance with the GDPR.

What happens in the KYC process:

• upload of an official identity document (passport, identity card, residence permit, driving licence depending on the country of origin)
• automatic authenticity check of the document using AI-assisted analysis (forgery and manipulation detection)
• OCR capture of document data such as name, date of birth, and number
• liveness check with biometric face comparison including deepfake detection
• screening against international sanctions and PEP lists

The check usually runs automatically within a few seconds. In individual cases, a manual review is carried out by our safety team.

The identity document data is used exclusively for verification. It is stored in encrypted form, is not passed on to third parties, and is not hosted in the USA. Details on processing and retention periods can be found in the privacy policy.

Client Verification

Not only escorts but also clients can get verified. This gives escorts additional security and makes bookings easier.

gingr.ch distinguishes three tiers:

• T1: email address verified
• T2: phone number additionally verified
• T3: full KYC check with an official identity document additionally completed

Escorts can decide for each booking which minimum tier they require. The higher the tier, the more context the escort has about the person behind the request.

Credit Check for Invoice Payment

For bookings with the invoice payment method, gingr.ch carries out a credit check on the client via the Swiss partner CRIF. The check covers solvency and the existence of debt enforcement or collection entries.

This check applies exclusively to clients who wish to pay by invoice. No CRIF query is made for any other payment method or for escorts.

Residence and Work Requirements

Sex work is legal in Switzerland, provided it is carried out voluntarily. The requirements differ depending on nationality:

• Persons with Swiss citizenship may work without any additional permit.
• Persons from EU and EFTA states may work under the Agreement on the Free Movement of Persons. Cantonal registration requirements apply in the case of self-employment or longer stays.
• Persons from third countries require a valid work permit. Without one, working on gingr.ch is not possible.

Compliance with cantonal registration and permit requirements is the responsibility of the escort. gingr.ch verifies identity and residence entitlement in the KYC process but assumes no guarantee for the cantonal compliance of each individual case.

Re-Verification

Verification data must remain up to date. gingr.ch requires a new check when:

• the uploaded identity document expires
• essential profile details change, such as name or date of birth
• there are indications of misuse or manipulation
• the profile has been inactive for an extended period

A re-verification follows the same process as the initial check and typically takes a few minutes.

Consequences of Missing or Failed Verification

Without a successfully completed KYC process, a profile cannot be listed publicly. Specific consequences:

• The profile remains in draft status and is not visible to other users.
• Booking and chat functions are not available.
• Secondary labels such as Age Verified, Content Verified, or Secure Booking are not activated.

If verification fails, feedback is provided stating the reason. The procedure can be repeated, provided there are no indications of fraud or manipulation.

In the event of a well-founded suspicion of forged documents, identity theft, or circumvention of the age check, the profile is permanently blocked and the case is handled in accordance with our anti-trafficking policy.

Data Protection

Verification data is processed in accordance with the Swiss Data Protection Act (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Detailed information on legal bases, retention periods, and your rights can be found in the privacy policy.
