On gingr.ch, four Trust Labels show clients that your profile has been verified. Here you'll learn how to get each label. With specific requirements and waiting times.

HOW IT WORKS
Each Trust Label in the process
ID Verified
The base label. You upload an official identity document. The Gingr team checks the authenticity of the data and matches the document with your profile details.
What you need
Official passport or ID document from your country of origin, or a residence permit issued by Swiss authorities.
How it works
Upload during onboarding, manual review by the team.
Waiting time
Usually under 24 hours after complete submission.
When active
With profile approval.
Age Verified
Confirms that the age shown on your profile matches your verified date of birth. During onboarding, you actively decide whether to display your real age.
What you need
Activated "Echtes Alter anzeigen" toggle in onboarding. ID Verified as a base.
How it works
In onboarding under "Altersverifizierung", activate the "Echtes Alter anzeigen" toggle. Your verified date of birth from your ID then becomes your displayed age.
Waiting time
No additional waiting time.
When active
With profile approval, as long as the toggle is active. Without an active toggle, you can choose your display age freely, but without the Age Verified Trust Label.
Content Verified
Confirms that all photos and videos on your profile show you. For this, you create a reference photo where you are visible together with a self-labeled Gingr sign.
What you need
A sheet of paper, a pen and a camera. You and the labeled sheet must be clearly visible in the photo.
How it works
Write "Gingr" clearly on a sheet of paper. Take a photo showing you and the sheet. Upload it in the dashboard. The photo is used only for internal verification and is not shared with anyone.
Waiting time
24 to 48 hours for review.
When active
After successful review. Content Verified is optional, but it strongly increases credibility.
Secure Booking
Not a verification procedure, but a result of your model choice. Profiles with Secure Booking process booking and payment through the platform. You are protected against cancellations.
Requirement
Employment Plan or Self-Employed Plan. Secure Booking is not available in the Core Plan.
How it works
Automatically with plan activation. No separate application required.
Waiting time

When active
From the first booking in your active plan.
WHAT TO AVOID
Common reasons for rejection
Most delayed approvals have simple causes. If you check these points in advance, your verification usually goes through without follow-up questions.

Blurry scans or photos of the identity document. Tip: straight capture, good lighting, all corners visible.

Expired identity documents. Tip: check the expiry date before uploading.

Profile photos that do not match the person in the reference photo. Tip: use current photos, no stock images.

Reference photo where the "Gingr" sign is unreadable or the person is not clearly visible. Tip: good lighting, clear handwriting, hold the sign straight.

Profile details that do not match the ID (for example a different birth name). Tip: ensure consistency or add a note in onboarding.

How clients see your Trust Labels
Trust Labels appear directly on the profile card in the grid and prominently in the profile detail view. Clients can filter specifically for profiles with certain Trust Labels. On the Trust Labels for clients page, you can see how clients perceive these labels and what they use them for.

Which identity documents are accepted for ID Verified?
Swiss ID, Swiss passport or a valid residence permit (B, C, L). EU and EFTA passports are accepted under the Employment Plan E2.
What happens if my ID expires?
Nothing. The identity check was a one-time verification of your person. An expired document does not change that. ID Verified stays active and your profile remains visible.
How do I reactivate a suspended Trust Label?
ID Verified and Age Verified remain permanently active after the one-time check. For Content Verified a re-check may be necessary if you substantially replace your photo material. In that case you upload a new reference photo.
When can I apply for Content Verified?
After profile approval you can select the «Verify photos» tile under «Profile» in the menu and follow the steps described there.
What can cause the Content Verified check to fail?
Blurry shots, poor lighting, an illegible «Gingr» sign or profile photos that do not match the person in the reference photo. You can repeat the verification as many times as needed.
When exactly does Secure Booking become active?
As soon as your Employment Plan or Self-Employed Plan is activated. No separate application is needed. From the first booking in the active plan the full protection applies.
Can I submit Trust Labels separately or does everything have to run at the same time?
ID Verified runs automatically during onboarding. Age Verified is activated there with a toggle if you want to display your real age. Content Verified is submitted after profile approval, at your own pace. Secure Booking results from the model choice.
Are my documents stored?
Yes, for the duration of your profile activity. Storage is encrypted and used exclusively for verification. The reference photo for Content Verified is additionally not shared with anyone. Details can be found in the privacy policy.
