How Gingr verifies identity

Verification takes place before a profile goes live. An escort registering on Gingr goes through the following process:

• Submission of an official identification document (passport, ID card, or residence permit)
• Matching the document data with the profile information
• Confirmation that the person on the document is the one operating the profile

Only after a successful check does the profile receive the ID Verified Trust Label. The data is treated confidentially and used exclusively for verification. Gingr follows the guidelines of the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.

What ID Verified shows — and what it doesn't

The identity has not yet been verified by Gingr.

Profiles without ID Verified show information that has not been verified by Gingr. Specifically, this means:

• Contact does not go through Gingr's internal chat but through external channels such as WhatsApp
• No reviews are displayed
• Platform safeguards do not apply, for example cancellation policies or payment protection
